Hailing from Klang, Selangor, Ms. Komathi's path began with a resolute drive to study law. This ambition led her to Northumbria University, where she earned her law degree. Upon returning to Malaysia, she was admitted to the High Court of Malaya as an Advocate and Solicitor in July 2007, marking the official commencement of her legal career.

Ms. Komathi's early years were spent sharpening her skills at Messrs Gerard Lazarus & Associates. Working as an associate, she gained invaluable experience in a dynamic legal environment. This period fostered a strong foundation in various legal practices, preparing her for the challenges and complexities that lay ahead.

However, Ms. Komathi's ambition extended beyond simply practicing law. Recognizing the importance of a holistic approach, she embarked on a quest to further her knowledge. She pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Corporate Governance from Putra Business School. This not only equipped her with a keen understanding of the corporate world, but also honed her business acumen, allowing her to provide clients with a broader perspective that transcended purely legal solutions.

Further enriching her skillset, Ms. Komathi obtained a Diploma in Arbitration at Brickfields Asia College. This specialized training broadened her expertise in resolving disputes outside of the courtroom, offering clients alternative and potentially faster avenues to achieve their desired outcomes. She is well-known for her tenacity to fight without fear or favour and widely regarded as "The Klang Tigress" among the members of the bar. 

While her qualifications demonstrate a commitment to excellence, Ms. Komathi's true passion lies in two distinct yet often intertwined areas: Criminal Law and Corporate Law. In the realm of criminal law, she fights tirelessly to protect the rights of the accused, ensuring a fair and just legal process. Her dedication to upholding human rights is unwavering, a testament to her belief that everyone deserves a strong legal defense.

Ms. Komathi's expertise in corporate law allows her to navigate the intricacies of the business world. She guides clients through complex legal matters, ensuring compliance and safeguarding their interests. Her experience and knowledge of corporate governance become invaluable assets when advising on mergers, acquisitions, and other critical business decisions.

Beyond her legal prowess, Ms. Komathi's commitment to social justice is undeniable. Her passion for human rights extends beyond the courtroom. She served as the Chairperson of the Selangor Legal Aid Centre from 2011 to 2012, a testament to her desire to make legal representation accessible to all.

Today, Messrs Komathi Arunasalam stands as a beacon of legal expertise and unwavering dedication. Ms. Komathi's journey is a testament to her relentless pursuit of knowledge, her unwavering commitment to justice, and her passion for empowering individuals and businesses.
